Kids will explore the Sun during the first week and learn interesting facts about our largest natural light source while participating in hands-on activities including making a sun dial, mini Parker solar probes and (weather permitting) do some solar viewing through the telescope.

Space explorers of all ages will learn about the Moon in the second week, including details about astronaut training and celebrating the 50th anniversary of the first moon landing with an Apollo 11 craft.

In addition to the special spring break events, make sure to check out the Space Centre’s other exhibits including the Cosmic Courtyard and the live science demonstrations in the Ground Station Canada Theatre. No registration is required.

All Spring Break activities are part of general admission and are recommended for children ages 7 and up.
