by

If you’re looking for a FREE, fun, family-friendly event in Vancouver this summer, check out River District‘s Savour Summer Festival. Back for its second year, Savour Summer will take place over three Saturday’s over the summer: July 13, August 10 and September 7.

Located in River District’s Town Centre (at Marine Way and River District Crossing), the Savour Summer Festival has an impressive lineup of fun events for all ages.

Proudly showcasing BC talent, River District’s Savour Summer will be a fun-filled first event. There will be so much for fun the whole family on July 13th! This free family event includes live music, interactive entertainment, giveaways, prizes and local food trucks. A few of River District’s retailers will also participate with special offers, activities for kids and giveaways – you won’t want to miss local favourite Yeeri The Magician, the music and all the free fun!

Over three events, enjoy the soulful acoustic tunes of Cory Owens on the guitar, acrobatic skills of circus performer Shine Davine, exciting skills of Yeeri The Magician, fun tunes of children’s artist Oot n’ Oots and lots more, there’s something for everyone at the Savour Summer Festival on July 13th!

The list of activities and events go on: face painting, balloon animals, a bouncy castle – and you can even dunk your favourite super hero to help raise funds for local charities. The River District Neighbourhood Centre team will have cupcakes ready for you to decorate, while the Vancouver Mural Festival will have a community art wall ready for painting and an area for crafts.

With the long list of fun events and activities, be sure to round up your friends and family for the upcoming River District’s Savour Summer Festival on July 13th.

While the July 13th and September 7th events are all about the kids, August 10th will feature local Indie band The Boom Booms, local beer and wine tasting, and lots more activities for both parents and kids!
