Did you imagine that you’d be a mom at the age that you became a mom?

I became unexpectedly pregnant exactly one month after our wedding and had 3 babies within 4 years before I was 30.

Describe your children in a single sentence?

My 3 kids are all unique, kind, helpful and actually love spending time with their parents and family.

How have you changed as a person since becoming a mom?

My heart has grown exponentially since having kids and they are my greatest teachers. I have learned to advocate for my kids and be their biggest cheerleader based on their unique personalities.  I truly love raising teenagers. They are right now 17, 18, and 19.

What has been the hardest thing about being a mom?

Having kids struggling with Autism and learning needs presented many challenges from ages 9-12. Once we overcame those hurdles, we became confident parents and trusted our kids to become advocates for themselves.

What do you love most about being a mom.

As previously mentioned, my kids have thought me so much about myself and how I can do hard things. I mainly love the 1:1 chats I get to have with my kids and make time to learn about their individual needs and dreams.

Do you have a favourite family activity?

Since Covid we have been doing regular weekend movies at home and going to play arcade games. Pre covid, we loved travelling and our last big trip was 3 weeks in Europe. We took A cruise from Barcelona to Rome and also visited Malta (where my husbands family is from), and other amazing cities.

What advice can you give our mama readers?

Take time to find out what your kids are passionate about by exposing them to many experiences. Then just be their biggest cheerleader!
