Science Odyssey: The Baffling Case of Beaver Lake
Saturday, May 12th – Sunday, May 13th, 10 am – 4 pm, Stanley Park, Vancouver
Solve a mystery of microscopic proportions when a series of clues is left from a breach at Beaver Lake! Curious investigators must learn about the swimming invertebrates of our freshwater habitats to crack the case. Only you can unwrangle the puzzle at the Stanley Park Nature House laboratory, where we examine the evidence with magnifiers and microscopes. Please allow for 1 hour to complete.

Free Sustainable Gardening Workshop: Creating a Family Garden

Welcome to the fascinating world of songbirds! A bird expert and others will be on hand to introduce the many different species, their calls that liven up the forest, and natural attractants to bring them into your backyard. Tour indoor and outdoor learning spaces including the Bell-Irving Hatchery, ‘Roof-to-Creek’ stormwater management system and wetlands.
